Come take in the beautiful vistas and scenery of Northern Arizona in our Diamond HK-36 Katana motor-glider. After a short preflight briefing and taxi, we’ll be airborne. Climbing to 5000’ above the ground, you’ll have the opportunity to see historic Route 66 & Williams, Arizona like never before. Once we reach our target altitude, we’ll turn the engine off! Soaring like a bird, the stunning landscapes of Sycamore & Verde Canyons, Sedona, the Grand Canyon’s Southern rim, Bill William’s Peak and Humphreys Peak unfold before you. Our flight concludes with a silent glide back to H.A. Clark Memorial airport for a power-off landing.

Maybe a little at first, but soon it becomes very relaxing and calm. If you are nervous be sure to schedule a flight in the cooler months or early in the day.
We now offer a HD video service for a small extra charge ($50). The canopies on the aircraft are very fragile and expensive so a fixed camera mount is the best way to protect both the aircraft and passenger from loose cameras.

Yes, generally we do not take any person flying under the age of 12. The physical size of the person is very important as they need to be large enough to adequately fit the seat and seat belts.
Yes. 240lbs is the maximum weight limit. Height limits depend upon the person’s individual torso or leg proportions. If you’re over 6’3″ we’ll have to evaluate you on the day of your flight.
No, all rides are for 1 passenger only.
A reservation isn’t required but it is preferred.
Assuming you don’t find any thermals your maximum height will be 4000′ – 5000′ AGL (Above Ground Level).
Flight times will be approximately 30-40 minutes.
